Foiled Labels
Foiled labels are produced by using heat and pressure, a thin layer of foil is adhered to the face of labels during manufacture. The technique is achieved by using brass blocking dies to apply pressure where foil accents are required. The method is normally used to provide a custom label appearance with metallic accents. The process is often referred to as hot foiling
or metallic label
production.
Common metallic colours are available such as silver, gold, copper, and bronze, in addition a whole spectrum of other colours may be used.
